The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a new nationwide oversight initiative yesterday aimed at removing ineligible Medicaid and CHIP enrollees by ensuring all enrollees are either U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or have satisfactory immigration status.
