The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) posted a call for research on the budgetary impacts of nutrition standards in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Currently, while there are some restrictions on SNAP purchases (e.g. no hot food), there are no nutritional requirements.
