Yvette Fontenot Announced as CEO of Newly Rebranded Impact Health Policy Partners

New CEO brings extensive Congressional and Executive Branch experience with a track record of success as a strategic consultant, health policy expert, and advocate to the firm.

Yvette Fontenot will lead the newly rebranded Wynne Health Group, one of the nation’s premier, mission-driven health policy consulting and advocacy firms, now named Impact Health Policy Partners.

“I’m thrilled to lead this unparalleled team into a new phase of client services.  In-depth policy analysis and strategic guidance help clients navigate an ever-changing health care landscape.  My goal is to ensure client success while improving health care coverage and affordability,” said Yvette Fontenot.  “The new name sums up our mission – working together to impact health.”

“Yvette’s leadership is obviously the cornerstone of the bright future we see ahead,” said Impact Health Chairman Billy Wynne. “The new name and brand better convey our firm’s team-driven approach to serving clients and mission to improve health and well-being for all,”

Fontenot has nearly 25 years of Federal health care experience and has held senior positions on Capitol Hill as well as in the White House and at the Department of Health and Human Services.  She is an expert on the Federal legislative and regulatory process and has longstanding relationships with lawmakers, regulators and thought-leaders.  She has served as professional staff to both the Senate Finance and House Energy & Commerce Committees.  For the last ten years, Fontenot has worked advising clients and helping to build Avenue Solutions, one of Washington’s leading strategic consulting practices.

“We initiated this CEO search to provide new creative energy and superior expertise to lead our team and clients into a robust, impact-driven future,” said Chairman Billy Wynne. “Yvette exceeds our expectations in all facets, bringing a stellar reputation for providing the highest level of service to a diverse, mission-aligned array of clients.”

A graduate of Duke University with a Master in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, Fontenot has also worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget, the Office of former Senator John Rockefeller, and Jennings Policy Strategies.

Impact Health has contributed over $225,000 to mission-aligned organizations that support the health and well-being of people in need. The firm has prioritized three “north star” issues to guide its focus and impact for the years to come: (1) women’s rights, including maternal and reproductive health; (2) racial justice and health equity; and (3) mental and behavioral health.
