Victor brings a mix of ample hands-on experience in the public health field and specialized healthcare delivery to his work in health policy. With experience covering topics such as prescription drugs policy, mental health access, vaccinology and climate change research, among others, Victor’s interests include advancing health equity and analyzing health policy and its implications for underserved populations.
Prior to joining Impact Health Policy Partners, Victor completed a practicum placement with the Alexandria Health Department, assisting the Population Health team in their COVID-19 outreach efforts to increase vaccine access and knowledge across minority populations in the city. He assisted with the tracking of health guidelines and disseminating COVID-19 information in a culturally relevant and timely manner to stakeholders and the public.
Victor received a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University’s Milken Institute of Public Health and completed his capstone project on the impact of COVID-19 on mental health access among Latinx families. Victor also holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from George Mason University.
